What is LEED certification?

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It is a green building rating system used to evaluate sustainable building strategies across design, construction, operations, and maintenance.

Projects pursuing LEED certification must meet required prerequisites and then earn points through selected credits. The total number of points achieved determines the final certification level.

LEED for Homes Green Rater services

Third-party verification for residential LEED projects

The LEED for Homes rating system requires project teams to work with a Green Rater as early as possible in the design and construction process. As the Green Rater on your project, RunBrook is responsible for verifying prerequisites and credits within the LEED residential rating systems.

Our Green Raters perform on-site verification and diagnostic testing to confirm that selected strategies are properly implemented and performing as intended. We work with developers, builders, LEED Accredited Professionals, design teams, and LEED for Homes Providers to coordinate expectations, inspections, and verification submissions.
