Newfield Community Development
Designing a community in harmony with the land
Newfield is designed as a model for long-term environmental stewardship and community-centered growth. Anchored by principles of sustainability and Traditional Neighborhood Design (TND), the development emphasizes walkability, mixed-use neighborhoods, and diverse housing options that encourage connection and reduce dependence on vehicles. Downtown Newfield, neighborhood parks, and interconnected trail systems create a cohesive, accessible community fabric.
At its core, Newfield integrates nature into daily life through preserved ecosystems, active farmland, and community programming that promotes environmental awareness and local food systems. Residents have access to farm-to-table experiences, community garden plots, educational workshops, and outdoor recreation across more than 1,000 acres of conserved land. Together, these elements position Newfield as a forward-looking example of how large-scale development can balance growth with ecological responsibility.
